Case Information Online (CIO)
Notice for Domestic Relations Cases: “ADM TOLL TIME BEGIN” and “ADM TOLL TIME END” that appear on all active cases will prevent statistical case-time from accruing per the Supreme Court of Ohio's December 16, 2020 Order. This tolling order is only used for correctly calculating the age of active cases during this period, and does not impact any other time standards (rule or statute) that are in effect. It also does not serve to stay the case in any way.
CIO was created and is maintained by the Franklin County Clerk of Courts and the Franklin County Data Center. CIO is intended as a convenience to the residents of Franklin County for the purpose of obtaining public record information regarding Criminal and Civil cases filed in the General Division of the Court of Common Pleas, Domestic Relations cases filed in the Domestic Relations Division of the Court of Common Pleas, and Appellate cases filed in the 10th District Court of Appeals. We make every effort to ensure that the documents on CIO are current and accurate, but we do not guarantee this.
Under no circumstances, including negligence, shall anyone involved in the creating and maintaining of CIO be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages or lost profits that result from the use or inability to use the Franklin County Clerk of Court's website and/or any other website linked to this site. CIO will have periodic maintenance and outages, both scheduled and unscheduled. Access to CIO may be unavailable during these instances. In the event CIO is unavailable for any reason, the Franklin County Clerk of Courts assumes no responsibility to restore CIO within any predetermined period of time.
CIO is intended for use by the general public. It is not intended as a source of information for those seeking copies of large quantities of records or a source for bulk downloads of data. Efforts to mine large quantities of data from CIO without prior approval of the Franklin County Clerk of Courts Office will be detected and stopped. Any public or private organization or individual(s) wishing to obtain data files from the Franklin County Clerk of Court's Office must submit a Public Records Request that can be accessed via our website (clerk.franklincountyohio.gov).
